Exquisite Cabo Wedding with a Donkey and Maracas!

When Henry and Joelle decided to have a destination wedding – far away from the winter snow of Chicago– they knew it had to San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. The opportunity to gather all of their closest family and friends for several days in a beautiful location was the dream scenario for the lovebirds. The weekend was full of special celebrations, but for the wedding day they had a few special surprises in store, including a donkey who came to join them at the wedding venue!

The mango grove at Flora Farms was the perfect spot for Henry and Joelle to exchange vows before moving onto a delicious al fresco dinner. During the ceremony the couple exchanged the same vows as their grandparents, which honored the family members that couldn’t join them, and added a little bit of good luck for a marriage that would stand the test of time. The reception featured farm tables adorned with mostly neutral and mixed metallic elements to allow for the natural beauty of the setting to really shine. They sent off the wedding day with a bang, dancing the night away under a canopy of twinkle lights surrounded by family and friends shaking maracas that served as both escort cards and favors.
