A Timeless and Multicultural Wedding in Toronto

Christina and Tom’s love story began with a blind date, and after many Air Force moves for Tom, lots of long distance dating. During a trip to Spain, Tom asked for Christina’s hand in Madrid's El Retiro Rose Garden. Of course she said "Yes!" For the wedding, , Christina and Tom were aiming for a chic, black-tie wedding filled with luxurious and glamorous details that honored cultural traditions. In addition to her beautiful Galia Lahav wedding gown, Christina also wore a traditional cheongsam in a bold and sophisticated red shade. The red dress lit up the room at the tea ceremony, and the white gown came out for the exchanging of vows and the reception. The groom and his groomsmen were all dressed to impress, with Tom’s sharp red bow tie matching Christina’s cheongsam.

At the venue, Graydon Hall, the traditional tea ceremony took place first. Tom and Christina gifted their family members with tea from a gorgeous red teapot and cups, then received wedding gifts from the family members and guests. Following the tea ceremony it was onto the exchange of vows where guests sat around a dreamy fountain in a bright green courtyard, and the couple was framed by a handmade rose arbor bursting with blush roses. After the sun set, the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. had their first dance surrounded by friends and family holding sparklers! A sparkling ending to a magical day.
