Southern LGBTQ Celebration with Historic Charm

Tommy and Anthony, a same-sex, interracial couple are no strangers to the non-traditional. In fact, the circumstances under which their relationship blossomed - through the Words with Friends app - shows just that! A love of warm weather and historic architecture drew these two from Philadelphia down to Charleston, SC for their destination wedding. They tied the knot at the gorgeous Lowndes Grove Plantation. One hundred of their closest friends and family members were in attendance, including their sweet Frenchie named Pierogi!

After Tommy and Anthony exchanged vows in front of the most gorgeous floral arch, the party kicked off. The stunning combination of florals that were seen in the arch also topped all of the tables for a perfect rustic, romantic style. The evening was spent dining al fresco and dancing under the stars before the newlyweds were sent off, flanked with sparklers, to hop into a vintage car and begin the rest of their lives together.
