Little Cottonwood Canyon Elopement

After a year of uncertainty about large weddings and events we've seen so many couples adjust and take the road less traveled for their weddings. From backyard nuptials to a trip for two (plus a photographer) to the mountains, this year has shown that there's no set way to pull off a wedding. When you and yours are ready to say "I do" nothing can stand in the way! This Utah elopement shows that with a meaningful location an intimate elopement can pack all the punch of a full scale wedding.

Avid campers and travelers, Jeff and Malissa, had been planning their wedding for some time, but between work and travel could never settle on the right time for their wedding. After many attempts at finding a date, the adventurers decided they'd make it official with a dreamy destination elopement and find the perfect date for a big celebration later. The groom's family owns a cabin in Utah's Little Cottonwood Canyon and the couple spent lots of time there throughout their relationship. After spending so much time hiking and enjoying the incredible surrounding area of Little Cottonwood Canyon, choosing this as the elopement location was a no-brainer. It's hard to imagine a more perfect place for an elopement than this idyllic cabin in the sprawling Utah wilderness where the magnificence of the sun setting and the moon rising served as the dreamiest backdrop.
